Subdomain installation · cPanel
Install SCC, step by step
Keep the subdomain folder cPanel created. The guided installer checks protection and prepares the application there.
Create a dedicated subdomain
In cPanel → Domains, create a subdomain such as seo.example.com. Turn off Share document root if offered and keep the suggested folder. Use this empty folder for SEOcc.
Enable PHP 8.5 and HTTPS
Select the new subdomain in MultiPHP Manager, apply PHP 8.5 or newer, and obtain a valid certificate through SSL/TLS Status or your host. The launcher needs Apache/LiteSpeed .htaccess support and tests it before installing files.
Create an empty database and user
Open Database Wizard, create the database and user, generate a strong password and select ALL PRIVILEGES. Keep the full prefixed names and database password for the wizard.
Upload the guided installer
Download installer.php above and copy its Installer setup code. In File Manager, open the document root shown for the new subdomain and upload the file there. Open https://seo.example.com/installer.php, paste the code and prepare your workspace. Keep the page open.
Follow the workspace wizard
Choose Continue to workspace setup. In this browser, setup access is carried forward securely. Confirm your HTTPS address, enter database details and create your administrator and workspace. Choose the cron interval your host allows and install.
Add cron and finish
The completion page provides your exact application path and cron schedule. Copy its command into cPanel → Cron Jobs and use the same interval. The wizard saves that interval automatically. Back up the encryption key at the path shown by the installer, delete the launcher and its completion marker, then sign in and activate your purchase key under System → License.

Already installed? Use System → Updates. Older install ZIPs may use a different layout; follow their release-specific manual instructions. The guided default-folder flow requires a compatible signed release.
